Vocab Word Cards:

Vocab Word Cards by Michael de la Torre
These are blank flash cards with each of the vocabulary words from 2000 edition (many stories are the same in 2002 and 2005). Students create their own illustration for each word. Sometimes if the word is too difficult for them to illustrate on their own, I tell them to find the word in the story and copy the picture from that page to help them remember. This really helped my students do quite well on the vocabulary section of the unit tests. -Michael de la Torre
